Scotches & Watches - CRM Jewelers' Grand Opening a Big Success!

It was an incredible night of cocktails, music and beautiful watches as we celebrated the grand opening of our 3,000-square foot jewelry store in Downtown Miami on April 13th.

Sponsored by Chivas Regal Brand Ambassador Alex Thaler, the event was characterized by the sipping of amazing cocktails using Chivas Scotch whiskeys to the tune of contemporary music and fresh, delicious food by Premier Beverage Catering.

Even though our Scotches & Watches event officially began at 6:00 PM, some guests started arriving early. Soon after that, as more and more people poured in, we began to wonder if 3,000 square feet was really going to be good enough to accommodate the crowd!

Existing clients from Miami, as well as international customers arrived both to show their support and to tour the new store. But also a lot of new faces joined the celebration, thanks to the help of Lauren Bourgoyne of the Miami Downtown Development Authority. The Miami DDA didn't just announce the grand opening of our new CRM Jewelers' location. They also promoted the event in their DWNTWNR Newsletter, which allowed us to enjoy the company of many other Downtown business owners and residents interested in lifestyle and luxury.

Plenty of Scotch flowed in and out of cups throughout the night, but the two signature drinks our Chivas Ambassador prepared for our guests went a long way in creating the desired experience of pairing high end watches with luxury Scotch whiskeys. Which cocktail did you prefer...the Sweet & Sour or the Extra Old Fashioned? The jury is still out! Thank you Alex for blowing us away with your exquisite concoctions! 

But the night just kept getting better, especially when our friend Xavier Marrufo, President and Founder of XM Cigars, made his welcome appearance. There's nothing like high quality cigars to turn a good lifestyle event great and, at Scotches & Watches, Xavier's premium signature line of Cuban cigars definitely delivered. As a result, many watch and scotch aficionados lined up under the glowing entrances sign outside to enjoy a good smoke. Thank you Xavier for lighting up our event (no pun intended)!

Our lifestyle event couldn't have been possible without an important, but less noticed ingredient: the professional and formally dressed security personnel of Premium Protection Services (PPS). PPS founders Archie and Abdiel Arosemena (who also attended the event) used their best security professionals to make everyone feel at ease and safe. Thank you PPS!
